There are a number of places to promote your book and GalleyCat has a great list – check it out.

I have been using Pinterest to keep track of a number of things like this – but it’s time I started using my blog for something other than a tax write-off.  I will put these little things in here so I don’t forget them and also in hopes it can help others.

In doing self-promotion; there are some things in here that need to be said, and other things that don’t really appy.  Everyone has their own combo of things they do to promote their books and certainly there are many “formulas,” but in reality Promoting your book as an Indie Author seems to be sink or swim.

I hate the whole time-suck aspect of social media and I’ve very few people that read my book so at this point my readership is low and I can get away with responding infrequently because…lets face it, I’ve really no comments to respond to.
